Today I counted the broken parts of my parents' computer:

Mainboard: the repair guy obviously gave them a refurbished and it is not well done. The machine dies over a few dozen times every day.

CPU: it is said that the repair guy fried the previous one so this one is a replacement. Hope lord knows where he got this secondary device.

Video card: the monitor would just go back out of the blue (yeah, it does turn win98 blue sometime before the seizsure). And sometimes you can even have mosaic, black white or in colour, before realizing that the keyboard and mouse are not responding...hey where is the power switch?

Sound card: when I plug in the speaker and mic I got an amplifying device. There is this screaming sound getting louder and louder.

Monitor: all the adjustment functions are gone.

Floppy disk driver: already replaced, the old one was not working.

I was hoping that the workstation in my office get this so I could have a new one.
